It’s not unusual for clients to be based outside the UK, and the assets can span everything from shopping centres, outlet malls and high street parades to industrial parks, leisure complexes and multi-let office buildings.

The acquisition of new developments may involve the investor funding the development works under complex forward funding arrangements or, more simply, completing the acquisitions once the development has been completed. We’re also adept at dealing with tenant applications to make alterations or to assign their premises. Ensuring that the income and expenditure levels are as the investors are expecting is of paramount importance.

Because every site is different and has its own particular quirks, we invest time and effort at the outset to develop a deep understanding of the asset. This can make all the difference in our dealings with tenants and developers.
